What is DTF and how does it work?
Direct to Film prints your design onto a clear film with a white ink base and adhesive powder. Heat press it onto fabric and it bonds into the fibers. Four steps, start to finish.

What are DTF transfers?
Direct to Film transfers are full-color designs printed onto a special film with a white ink base and adhesive powder. You heat press them onto fabric and the design bonds to the fibers. No weeding, no screens and no minimums.
How fast will I get my order?
Most orders print the same day. Choose free local pickup at checkout and collect your order at our North Side or South Side shop, Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Should I order by size or build a gang sheet?
Order DTF transfers by size if you have one or a few designs and want the simplest checkout. Use the gang sheet builder when you have many designs or sizes, since packing them on one sheet gives the lowest cost per inch. Already laid out your sheet? Upload it ready to print.
How do I press a DTF transfer?
Press with medium pressure at 275 to 300°F for 15 seconds, then peel the film while it's still warm. Cover with parchment paper and press 15 more seconds for a softer, more durable finish. Full steps are in our pressing instructions.
What fabrics does DTF work on?
Cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, fleece, denim and canvas, in any color. Always test heat-sensitive materials first and use parchment to protect the garment.
What size should my design be?
A full front on an adult medium is usually 10 to 11 inches wide, and a left chest logo is 3 to 4 inches. Check the DTF size guide for kids, 2XL and sleeve sizes.
What's the difference between DTF and UV DTF?
DTF is heat pressed onto fabric. UV DTF stickers are peel-and-stick transfers for hard surfaces like tumblers, glass, metal, plastic and wood. They need no heat and are waterproof and scratch resistant.
How do I apply a UV DTF sticker?
Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Press the sticker 2 to 4 times while it's face down, slowly peel away the white backing, place it, press it down 2 to 4 more times and slowly peel the clear carrier. Full steps are in our applying instructions.

How do I wash a shirt with a DTF transfer?
Turn the garment inside out, wash in cold water and dry on low heat or hang dry. Skip bleach and don't iron directly on the print.
